Many recent surveys in the philanthropy community show that the economic crisis will affect grants and giving. This newsletter and website will highlight local, direct fundraising through community events and will help get more community members involved. More funds can be raised to fill in the gap.

The newsletter also spreads the good message about giving, volunteering and serving on nonprofit boards.

Thank you.  Your time and effort in doing this and keeping it current is appreciated.  It is a big job.  I know, because I have tried to do it for the 'arts' related events only, and it is time consuming.  It is also very difficult to get people to remember to post their events.
